Bring your horse to expo and ride with Kelli of Kelli Horsemanship!  Kelli has a passion is teaching people who have horses, but want something more!

Kelli said the most common problem riders approach her with is fear and it seems many have it at some level.  Learn how to lean into that fear, identify, change your story, and make a plan to move forward with confidence and accomplish your goals.  Ride with Kelli one or both days at Expo as she expands upon this critical path of horsemanship.

You clinic entry does not include the admission wristband.  Wristbands are necessary to gain admittance to your event.  If you have purchased a stall for your horse, you may purchase your wristband when the horse is checked in.  Otherwise, please purchase your wristband at the gate.  Wristband is $15 and valid for the weekend.  Non-transferable.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

PLEASE READ THIS LIABILITY WAIVER IN ITS ENTIRETY. 

By Clicking on the ONLINE entry form for this event, you have agreed to the contact of this liability waiver.

By entering this event, you acknowledge and accept that horseback riding and activities related thereto, involve the risk of personal injury.

By registering for this event for yourself or a minor, you hereby waive all rights, if any, claims, causes of action and lawsuits against the Nebraska Horse Trails Committee Inc., it's organizers of this event, their family, heirs, executors, legal representatives, administrators, successors, assignees, guests, employees, or agents affiliated with the group in any manner (collectively, herein “NHTC”) and Chance Ridge Event Center and their family, heirs, executors, legal representatives, administrators, successors, assigns, guests, employees, or agents affiliated with any of them in any manner (collectively, herein “Chance Ridge”) and Kelli Paulsen, Kelli Horsemanship and their family, heirs, executors, legal representatives, administrators, successors, assigns, guests, employees, or agents affiliated with any of them in any manner (collectively, herein “Clinician”) for any injury, liability or damages which may occur while riding any horse, whether leased or owned by me or by any other person, or for any injury or damages which may occur while participating in any activity related to horseback riding.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NHTC, Chance Ridge and the Clinician or any person or entity for any accident, injury, or loss that might occur, and free such persons from all liability for such injury or loss.

You understand that horseback riding always involves danger and you ride at my own risk.

You understand hazards which horseback riders cannot anticipate, identify, modify, or eliminate; that your horse and/or other horses can be excitable, difficult to control, and unpredictable; and that accidents can happen to anyone at any time.

You further understand that horseback riding involves such things as crossing creeks, galloping over uneven terrain, and being in strange places under adverse weather conditions which could result in injury to me and the horse I am riding.

You acknowledge that accidental injuries have occurred in the past involving horses owned by or by others. You agree to take full responsibility for yourself, any minor child you are accompanying, and the animal you are riding.

You further acknowledge that wearing a certified safety helmet is a good preventive measure against head injury and although not required, is recommended when participating in any horse activity. Your entry to this event constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions. You have read and fully understand this Medical and Liability Release. 

You further agree to allow and be financially responsible for any necessary emergency medical treatment by any available physician at any available medical institution in the event of injury or illness. You likewise agree to allow and be financially responsibility for any necessary veterinary treatment for the horse that you ride.

You further acknowledge under Nebraska Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to sections 25-21,249 to 25-21,253.

Please read closely before hitting SEND

  • You will need to purchase an event ticket to the event.  These can be purchased day of show.
  • No horse wash stations.  Please bring a clean horse
  • Please bring your own stall shavings
  • Clean your stalls upon departure - otherwise hard working volunteers will have to do it for you
  • Do not bring extra horses
  • Trailers must be parked in designated area.  No electrical hook-ups
  • If stalling, check in after 3:00 PM on Friday until 8:00 PM; or after 8:00 AM on Saturday/Sunday 
  • Check in at west entrance to event center
  • Out of state horses must have negative coggins and 30 day health papers
  • All horses overnighted on grounds must be stalled
  • As a courtesy to other horse owners, please have your horse current on vaccination
  • Entry to the event is non-refundable and considered a donation
  • The Nebraska Horse Trails Committee, it's officers and volunteers, Chance Ridge Event Center & their staff are not responsible for accident or injury while participating in this event
  • No Stallions
  • HTRE reserves the right to reject any applicant
